10 days of March…16 days till my birthday!

We’ve talked about that saying, “the older you get the faster time goes.” Well, it’s no lie. Cause holy shit how is it March 10th already?!

I have no major life updates.  Birthday month is cruising right along.  Had an unexpected date night with a great friend from college.  Nothing like an amazing meal, cocktails with someone who completely gets you and makes you laugh till you cry.  Oh and it also helps when he takes you to your favorite restaurant which just happens to be Butcher and The Rye. So flipping good.

In true Pam101 fashion (and as I mentioned this month is all about my favorite things), I have been reading like a fool.  Reading like a Scottish Highlander, Romantic, Super Hot Obsessed fool.  Again, thanks to my neighbor Peg, she has introduced me to another book series all about the Scottish Highland Guard.  I am pretty sure Peg said her bookclub is called, “holy shit these books make you blush and then stay up till 3am reading” it was something like that.  Or that could be the name I gave it.
Anyway, the books I am reading are a part of The Highland Guard series by Monica McCarty.   I have two left.   In addition to reading those books, Peg also gave me a book called, Wallbanger.  Yes, I am pretty sure every time I talk with Peg, I am talking to future Pam101.   Wallbanger was hilarious, hot and made me miss living in a city.   And when Wallbanger ended (with a bang), I was stoked to find out there were two more in the series (Rusty Nailed and Last Call). Yep, I finished them too.  If you want a fun, funny and sexy book…I would recommend Wallbanger.

(the photos of these books makes me embarrassed I read them...but here's a trick, take the paper covers off)

Took the kids to Disney on Ice.  Can I just say that as soon as I hear a song from Frozen, I pretty much turn into either Elsa or Anna (just depends on the song).  Oh and those $16.00 snow cones…taste crappy but super cute cups!
Working on an extra special quilt. Can’t show to much but I think it is going to be pretty great.  Our amazing Yinzer Supper Club is this coming Saturday.  Going to be an amazing table!!  Theme is England! See, Kylie and I are sorta obsessed with all things related to England/UK.  For me it’s Scotland, Outlander,  Hot guy from Superman, 50 Shades, Harry Potter, etc.  For Kylie it’s Ed Sheeran, Pubs, and One Direction.  The menu is top-notch, the table will be the best one yet and Pam101 is planning some super delicious Brit inspired cocktails.  Can’t wait to show you the photos!  (sneak peak of pics are 1st photo in post)

Hope you are having a splendid March!
