Phase II was one major, took ALL day, thing. PAINTING.
I painted, let it dry and painted again. 2 gallons of paint later and she is in passing shape.
I also was able to get all the hardware changed on the doors and shelves which on its own made it look better. More retro, I think. More Pam101's style.
I also broke some child labor laws. Sssshhhhh.
We are now in the home stretch.
Only a week and a day before her first adventure.
She's gonna be great!
Sleeping area with it's first coat of paint. PS- the burners on the store work. |
Eating area. |
Please note that Roxie had that little dent in her front BEFORE I took her out on her first trip. |
Always nice to have help. Even if you have to go back and paint over all the messes. |
Out with the old and in with the new. |
Pretty sure there is a photo of Pam101 out there about Lucy's age doing the same thing in my Dad's workshop. Also, this photo was snapped as Lucy and I were singing every Lady Gaga song. |
Lucy in the bunk bed. Too lazy to paint the inside of it. |
Will pitching in. |
Putting the light back up over the eating area. How great are Mom's curtains. Also, note the deer antlers. |
My "new" doors. |
Who would have thought this would have taken as long as it did and I am STILL not done. |
Love this!!! Love the curtains and the new paint job. I still can't believe you're going to drive that thing!! You're my idol.
