So, while we wait to hear back from my tenants and try not to eat Xanax and guzzle vodka...I decided to do something else.
Plan an impulsive trip...to...THE IOWA STATE FAIR!
See, when I took the most amazing trip ever aka ROAD TRIP 2011...I loved Iowa. And all I did was drive through it.
I saw Boo was online and shot her a one-liner (well more than one-line) and in a nutshell said, "let's do this, we should go, they fry everything, they have a giant butter cow, my tenants are causing me to have wrinkles, did I mention the fair deep-fry's everything!"
Her response, "You had me a butter!"
So, now we are planning. We want to camp at the fair but all the spot seem to be taken...so we have already posted a Craigslist ad. If you know anyone who knows someone who is trying to unload a parking/camping spot...please let Pam101 know.
Can you guys imagine the amazing food photographs at the Iowa State Fair!? My snap figure just got happy!
This is how my brain operates. I go from really bad, no-good, shitty news to Hey Boo! Let's plan a trip!
