As you have learned Pam101 loves her family very much. We are a small group and we only get together a few times a year. But when we do...we have a great time! A few years ago (6 to be exact) we started a new family tradition. It's called "The Robe". Whenever 10 of us are together The Robe must be worn by the current Keeper of the Robe. The Keeper of the Robe has The Robe for one year. At the end of their year The Robe is then passed to the next family member via whatever rules The Keeper creates. During the time the Keeper has The Robe they have to add to it. When Pam101 had The Robe the very first year she added beads to the sleeves and a John Kerry button...My Dad added his Military badge...My Sister In Law added a feather boa. Uncle Chuck added some Vegas flair. We all add to The Robe...which makes it even more special. The Robe had been with Mike. Being that Mike is in Nepal and this was our one chance to do The Robe Exchange we acted on it. Mike oversaw The Robe Exchange ceremony...this years rules "family talent show...who ever is the worst gets to keep The Robe for the next year". Long story short...it was down to Mom and Aunt Bev (Mom didn't try and Aunt Bev had bad joke delivery). They had to race to see who would be The Keeper of The Robe. Mom lost the race...she is know The Keeper. Wonder what she will add to it?
