Pam101 fans...I will admit it...I am 30 and I still get homesick. There I said it. The past few weeks have been a bit tough because a part of me misses home...A Lot. Sure, Pam101 goes home often to see Lucy and Baby Will but this recent homesickness isn't about them. It is about the city of Pittsburgh. The people, the energy, the passion they have just for calling themselves Pittsburghers...I just miss it. I love my life in DC but it isn't like the love I have for Pittsburgh. Most of my college friends (and friends I have had since grade school) still live there! So, I have decided I need a trip home not to see Lucy and Will but to go straight to the Burgh and be with friends. So, that is what I am doing! I will spend time with Dana and her family, make my way over to the Astor estate where I will see many college friends and drink beer...and the evening will conclude with Primanti's and then bar crawl on the South Side. What more could I possibly ask for!

Then on Sunday I will be meeting up with Spicy101 for brunch at Lidia's
and then walking through one of my fave places in the city, The Strip District!

Here is hoping this little bit of home will cure what ales me...if not this trip home probably will just make it worse.
