Recipe:
16 ounces sour cream
16 slices (12-ounce package) bacon, cooked and crumbled
8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (about 2 cups)
1/3 cup thinly sliced scallions or chives

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving to allow flavors to meld together. Garnish with extra shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped chives. Serve with your favorite potato chips or pretzel crisps. Dip can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

1. Maybe I am getting old and weed and sex humor doesn't make me laugh the way it should?

2. That is a lie cause I loved Bridesmaids...my point is Bad Teacher was just bad.

A Little Girl Talk from Pam101: A Kiss

A friend once told me, "I just need to go out and be kissed." After talking about it further...she explained that, "she just wants to feel a kiss." That was it. Nothing more. A kiss.

And at the time (this was a few years ago) I remember thinking, "I have never felt this way." I mean, as a strong, independent woman (aka Bella) I have never felt the need for a kiss,especially a kiss from a stranger. Maybe this is my problem with New Years Eve (but that is a whole other story).

And then this AM her words randomly popped into MY brain, "I just want to be kissed."

Is this true? This would be a new one for Pam101. I mean for the past five years the only kisses I have asked for are from lil people. No, not the lil people from The Wizard of Oz but the lil ones in my life. And now that Will (no longer Baby Will) willingly gives me kisses I am getting perfect little smooches many times a week.

But at the ripe old age of *gulp* 31, I am starting to realize that sweet little niece and nephew kisses might not be enough. Is it time to start seeking "real" kisses? Kisses from men, who as Pam101 requested the other day, "can grow a strong beard."

And if this new "realization" is true, what do I do about it? I still have my "kisses from strangers leads to weird cold sores popping up" mentality, so I guess this means I need to "try and actually meet some people."

This is a lot to think about on a Sunday morning. A Sunday morning, in my robe, with a zit on my cheek, 4th cup of coffee....someone wants to kiss that, right?

Every Friday (and Saturday) I have a sidekick who wants to do everything I want to do: play, have snacks, watch tv and have grandma make us breakfast.

As Pam101 was dragging her feet and wrapped in a fuzzy robe this AM, it dawned on her that she can't seem to find her black bra.

She yells over to her Mother (cause she lives at home and sleeps across the hallway from her folks), "mom have you seen my black bra?" Her mother responds, "no, maybe it is in my room?" To which Pam101 says, "nah, you would know it wasn't yours. It's lacey and pretty, doesn't look like yours." Mom responds, "well, I haven't seen it."

To which Pam101 says, "well we all know I didn't leave it anywhere!"

Because as you very well know Pam101 doesn't leave her house or couch to leave her bra anywhere else.

Must make an effort to really lose bra in 2012. Preferably under an NHL's players bed or passenger seat.

Long story short. The other day I was sorta done with Lucy's whining, etc so I just walked away from her. I wasn't mad...I just walked away.

I hear her yell for me. I yell back, "I'm cleaning the kitchen, I will be right there."

Few minutes later...her and Mom101 walk out of the living room. Lucy looks like she did something bad and Mom101 is laughing. "Don't you want to show Aunt Pam your sad letter?" Lucy says, "NO!"

I walk over. "Show me the letter, Lucy." She still says, "No."

She finally caves.

You can imagine my sadness when she hands me the letter above. In Lucy's defense, she did feel bad that she crossed out my heart.

She then told me that she loved me very much.

I told her I had to keep her first "I hate my aunt" note. Because I am sure...as she gets older...and I get more spinster like...there will be lots more hate mail. But this is the very first one. And it is special.

But...for now she loves me.

today was the first day of cold. i mean cold cold. it's been cold here and there this winter but

today was pretty cold.

anyway, despite the cold weather, i am thinking about the garden

that we will plant this summer.

the pam101 family plants a MASSIVE garden.

i am super excited. i want to plant some seeds and see if i can get them started.

but i never ever seem to have luck with seeds.

i might just give it a shot. let's get some seeds and get planting.

Dear Pam101 Readers,

Hi there. I hope this letter finds you doing well. Things here are good. Just busy. The new job is going great. And I am loving being creative and sorta feeling semi-important. BUT i know I have been neglecting you. Spicy even called me out for my lack of time with you all.

And I am sorry.

I just don't have as much time anymore. I work all day (actually work) and then come home. And honestly, as lame and old fartty as it sounds, I just want to do nothing. I want to put on sweatpants, lay in my bed and watch the Pens (did I mention I am lame. I usually am in bed by 9:00...also because of the Pens...I am behind in every single show I used to watch).

But I need to change that. Because I miss you all. I miss what we used to have when I didn't do anything at my job and put up about 20 posts a day. I miss our AM/PM Hotnesses, Recipe of the Day, Song of the Day, Girl Talks and other shenanigans.

I will make a promise to you. One I hope to really, really keep. I will get back into touch with you. I will talk to you daily. I will share my highs and lows and my picks on fashion (even if you all called me out for bad calls), we will talk vampires, food, wine, fun girly things, my lack of dating, etc, etc.

Stick with me friends. I would be lost without you.

LATimes: The Internet is buzzing with rumors that TV chef Paula Deen, queen of the deep fryer, could soon reveal to the world that she has Type 2 diabetes.

The Daily reports that Deen, known for fat-laden dishes such as deep-fried, bacon-wrapped macaroni and cheese, is on the cusp of spilling the refried beans about her condition. Last year, the National Enquirer wrote that Deen had the condition, and the Daily is also reporting that the TV star has inked a deal with a pharmaceutical company to endorse a diabetes drug.
