Things I am currently really into

1. The Olympics. I pretty much chant USA! USA! USA! everywhere I go. 

2. Trying to paint and get Roxie ready for maiden voyage to Iowa. 

3. Fresh tomatoes from the garden. 

4. HBO's show The Newsroom. 

5. Even though I am not making much time for it in my life, I totally am into Zumba. Even if I have realized I am not nearly as coordinated as I used to be.

I love finding designers I never would have come across if I hadn't searching, "vintage camping"

I LOVE that I can get a designer to make amazing posters for me.

I LOVE that I can get an awesome decal for Roxie's walls.

we made paperweights!

Spice and I are determined to take advantage of all that Pittsburgh has to offer! Today we went to the Pittsburgh Glass Center to make paperweights. And it was awesome. Seriously, a great way to spend an afternoon. We won't get to see our finished paperweights until we go back and pick them up...but I know they will be beautiful!

1. Been busy at work and at home. So I apologize for my lacking of blogging. I know all five of my readers are upset.
   
2. I am currently working on some quilts. This is the reason I will be forever single. That and the fact that I love bad food, beer and hate working out.
   
3. Speaking of being single. I posted my profile on Match.com and decided I didn’t want to pay for it.  So, I am going to hop on over to the free OKCupid and give that a shot. 
   
4. You guys hear that KStew cheated on RPatz.  As my favorite volunteer at the hospital says, “there is a bit of truth to everything.”  Can’t wait to see how this story unravels in Celebville.
   
5. Speaking of Twilight, I can’t wait for Breaking Dawn Part II.
   
6. Been working on my Iowa State Fair trip and Roxie Shasta McNasty’s maiden voyage.  Boo might not be able to go so I am pretty sure I have Big Brother convinced he should tag-along for this adventure.   What could be better than spending 14 hours in the car with your brother?!

I am a big advocate of going places. 

Traveling.

Hitting the open road.

Buying a plane ticket.

You get the picture.

But you know what.

Sometimes...we don't realize what is in our own backyard.

Fallingwater.

Fallingwater is one of Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpieces, if not his masterpiece.

This amazing home is in Southwester PA and only 1.5 hours from my house. 

I went there today and fell in love.

I loved it so much...I bought a membership.

If you are in the Pittsburgh area...put this amazing house on your Must See list. 

you can't die happy until...

There is an old saying, "You can't die happy until you have been to the Jacktown Fair!"

Did I mention that I was once a fair queen? Oh, yea. You heard me...in the glory days on 1996, Pam101 was the Miss Jacktown Fair Queen.

Mr.Wonderful and Brian had the honor of attending the fair this past Saturday. And what a night it was! And of course Lucy and Will joined us. The cutest thing...Lucy wanting to ride rides with Jeff and Will holding Brian's hand to walk on the street. 

So cute. 

There is really nothing more Americana that cotton candy, popcorn, cheap carnival rides and cowboy boots. It was a really fun night. 

Oh, and I won a goldfish!
