A Little Girl Talk from Pam101: Self Discovery

I have discovered something about myself this week.  I am the most overly ambitious person and all at the same time the most laziest person you will ever meet.

How can a person be both of those things?

Here are some examples of my ambition and laziness.

1. I have been saying for months I want to start making smoothies for breakfast. You know get the greens, the apples, the beets, the carrots...the whole sha-bang! But I don't.  I never buy the fruits and veggies that go in them (hell, i hardly ever go to the grocery store) and I definitely will not take the time to throw things into a blender.  So, this means I come to work hungry and usually eat some sort of unfullfilling fatty food and feel bad about myself.

2.It's summer time. Which means I wake up and it is already in the high 60's and will be near 100 degrees by noon.  I don't want hot coffee...I want iced coffee.  I found the most perfect iced coffee recipe through Pioneer Woman.  BUT since I don't have the coffee (haven't been to the store) or the big restaurant style container to let it sit in...I don't make it. Which means I end up going to McDonald's for iced coffee and it is more cream than coffee.  This too leads to me feeling bad about my morning.

3. And don't even get me started on "movement"  I wanted to go to Zumba every night this week but instead found little things at home to do so I could justify staying in. You know...water my plants, blanch some vegetables, file some papers, etc.  Two thoughts on this. 1. I will never EVER meet Sid by filling bills and 2. Sid will never talk to you if you are the girl with 4 chins and chub-rub.

Are we seeing a trend?  My laziness is brought on by my lazy decision making and those lazy decisions lead me to feeling bad about myself. I am 32 bleeping years old...aren't I too old for self-doubt. I mean...seriously, Pam101 get over it. Start moving, start making good choices and stop being so lazy.

And speaking of ambition...I want to get my camper painted, get the cushions reupholstered, make new curtains AND come up with a fun camper name before I take her out on her maiden journey.

Feel free to send me name suggestions!
