Is there such a thing as a perfect day?

I do believe that I may have had an almost perfect day. And the only reason I say "almost" is because the day isn't over yet.

Best part of the day; I GOT A JOB!!! I'll give more deets on that later, but for now know I am very excited about this new adventure!

Next best part of the day; I FINALLY saw Breaking Dawn and I LOVED IT!!! Thanks to Spice for seeing it with me! LOVED IT!

Other Best Parts; today is Dana's birthday and this is probably the first time since college I am with her to celebrate! I got a cake and champagne to celebrate! AND I got myself a Pam101 family fave, Cherokee Red, to drink!

A PERFECT DAY!!!!!

Might need Martha to come over

I told Boo last night I had some major work to do.

What am I working on?

Quilts. Lots and lots of quilts.

I need to get 4 done by Christmas and this does NOT include Will's or Pam101's quilt.

The goal is to get one done and another almost done this week. Wish me luck!

i have a crush on Beyonce

Seems like yesterday...

It seems like yesterday when McHottie, Jax and Cams came over to help me put up my Christmas Tree. How can it be a year already? Look how much has changed in that year. I lost my job. I left an amazing city, condo and my friends.

But here I am.

Living with my parents and decorating not one but TWO trees.

I missed my friends today. I missed being able to seem them everyday.

Hope to see them soon.

Enjoy the photos from Pam101's decorating day. Only took me 2 days to get it all done.

Do you think my Mom has enough Christmas decorations???

A Pam101 Thanksgiving Highlight Reel

Santa's little helper

Pam101 has been a a busy bee today! In addition to my Thanksgiving duties: Turkey and Stuffing...I also started working on two very important projects today. Both of which are going to take lots of time but will be totally worth it.

Can't walk much about them...but here is a little peak.

Just working on a little stuffing

Here is hoping my first attempt at making stuff is a winner!

thankful, part I

I am thankful for little hands that make excellent little placecards.

happy thanksgiving from the pam101 family.

i wish Alton would just come over

Pam101 is attempting a first today.

I am going to brine a turkey. A 22lb beautiful young lil turkey.

I remember a few years back my sister-in-law made an unbelievably delicious turkey. And if I remember correctly she said she brined it.  Here is hoping mine is as good as hers.

Oh and if you want to see what Alton Brown recipe I am using, feel free to CLICK HERE.

Sports...A Dish Best Served HOT!

Last night's game was the return of Sidney Crosby.

And HOLY SHIT what a comeback.

PITTSBURGH, PA - NOVEMBER 21: Sidney Crosby #87 of the Pittsburgh Penguins takes the ice against the New York Islanders for the first time since sustaining a concussion on January 5 during the game on November 21, 2011 at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Are you getting ready?

Are you all ready for Thanksgiving? Who is cooking the turkey? The Pam101 family has a 22lb bird thawing as we speak.  It's gonna be awesome. Not as awesome as these spoons though.

thanks, etsy.

Working on a little something...

Pam101 is going to be a busy craft bee tomorrow. See, a good friend of mine is getting hitched soon and I am whipping up something extra special.

Wish me luck!

Speaking of Twilight

Major Shocking Announcement!

I still haven't seen Breaking Dawn yet. I know, I know. I can't believe it either. I just haven't had time and things have been chaotic since I got back.  Sigh.

I WILL see it soon!

Not sure a size 30 could rock this dress...

Want to dress like Bella on your wedding day? Well, here you go!
In a press release, Alfred Angelo describes the design as a "liquid satin sheath gown with a dramatic plunging cut-out-illusion back...and full-length lace-trimmed sleeves." While sales figures aren't available yet, a representative for the designer said brides were already snapping it up at $799 a pop. Not Kristen Stewart's size? Not a problem. This dress is available "in sizes 0 to 30W" to fit every "Twilight" bride.

You are never to old for a list...

Dear Santa,

Please ask your Elves to whip me up the following.

Forever your favorite little girl,
Pam101

PS- I moved this year. I now live in my parents house.  Do unemployed chicks get presents?

Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh Membership

Season One of How I Met Your Mother

24/7 Penguins vs Capitols on DVD

Marshmallows For Toasting™ Trio via Sephora.

Florence and the Machine's new CD, Ceremonials.

A rocking Hair Dryer (just thinking I should change mine...actually, Santa, this really isn't a big request. Just changing it up a bit. )

Salt Grinder; See Santa, I bought some Pink and Black Himalayan Salt and need a grinder for it.

Put me on the list for Pens season tickets. Preference is to have seats in the middle of the ice, on the end where the Pens shoot twice.  But I understand that those are mucho expensive.
