Is there such a thing as a perfect day?

I do believe that I may have had an almost perfect day. And the only reason I say "almost" is because the day isn't over yet.

Best part of the day; I GOT A JOB!!! I'll give more deets on that later, but for now know I am very excited about this new adventure!

Next best part of the day; I FINALLY saw Breaking Dawn and I LOVED IT!!! Thanks to Spice for seeing it with me! LOVED IT!

Other Best Parts; today is Dana's birthday and this is probably the first time since college I am with her to celebrate! I got a cake and champagne to celebrate! AND I got myself a Pam101 family fave, Cherokee Red, to drink!

I told Boo last night I had some major work to do.

What am I working on?

Quilts. Lots and lots of quilts.

I need to get 4 done by Christmas and this does NOT include Will's or Pam101's quilt.

The goal is to get one done and another almost done this week. Wish me luck!

Seems like yesterday...

It seems like yesterday when McHottie, Jax and Cams came over to help me put up my Christmas Tree. How can it be a year already? Look how much has changed in that year. I lost my job. I left an amazing city, condo and my friends.

But here I am.

Living with my parents and decorating not one but TWO trees.

I missed my friends today. I missed being able to seem them everyday.

Pam101 has been a a busy bee today! In addition to my Thanksgiving duties: Turkey and Stuffing...I also started working on two very important projects today. Both of which are going to take lots of time but will be totally worth it.

Can't walk much about them...but here is a little peak.

Pam101 is attempting a first today.

I am going to brine a turkey. A 22lb beautiful young lil turkey.

I remember a few years back my sister-in-law made an unbelievably delicious turkey. And if I remember correctly she said she brined it.  Here is hoping mine is as good as hers.
